Mum Serves As Named Driver On Insurance Policy

I thought that because I held a provisional licence that meant that my insurance would be more expensive than any other policy holder. Provisional licence insurance can sometimes be fairly cheap because the insurers know that there will always be an experienced driver teaching you how to drive. In addition, when I bought my policy I added my mum as a named driver on my insurance and because it’s quite a nice car, I let her drive it around, because of this she paid for it all! So all in all, I think that I’ve saved a lot of money by learning in my own car, and not with a professional instructor.
