Are You Too Young For A Credit Card?
I truly believe that many students may well be capable of handling debt while in college. Though some could get into major trouble by having too much college credit card debt. Why would they tempt our children with credit cards while so young? Because they can. If they can they will, after all money is money. But a irresponsible young college student could find themselves a victim if they get carried away charging unneeded items just because they can. Most of us adults cannot control our spending habits and have felt the ramifications in these very lean years we are experiencing right now. It seems to me you should have to take a course in managing and handling debt before being allowed to have a credit card, not after. But then again foresight is hindsight as usual. If only we knew.
