Save the Planet and Recycle Batteries!
Working in an electronics store, you can imagine that we go through a large number of batteries each day and each week. We try to keep all of our products out for our customers to demo, and that drains that batteries quickly. We were forever struggling to collect them all in order to recycle; too many of our employees were simply throwing them away, which is notoriously bad for the environment. To solve the problem, we started using a battery bin. This is a designated place for all the old batteries to wait for recycling. It is made of a specialized fire resistant material, so it is safe, and it is also effective.
