The term bookkeeping
The term bookkeeping is one that is often heard, especially in financial situations. However, it may be that people say the term without being fully aware of what it means; all of the different areas involved in it and who it is that actually keeps the books and looks after such financial matters for different companies.Firstly, it must be made clear what the process of bookkeeping actually is. Any financial transaction that is made either by an organisation or an individual person is then noted down and a record kept sales, payments, income etc are all types of data that is stored. This is known as keeping the books up to date, thus giving birth to the term bookkeeping.
