My Own Choices

One of many single parent benefits is that I do not have to justify my parenting choices to another person.  Probably any partner that I would be with would have similar views, but since there is no one I do not have that worry.  I make my own choices about discipline, vaccinations and education and they are not always the choices that others would make.  So far my son is growing up to be a very independent and responsible child and I think that he owes a lot of that to how he was raised.  At the very least, if he makes a mistake because of how he was raised I can only blame myself.
