Airsoft Guns and the New Men’s Day Out
The men in our church have a little tradition. Every other month, they take a day, usually on the weekend, and do something together as a group. It helps to build unity, and spend time with each other with some good old fashioned fellowship. Sometimes it’s a camping trip or a trip to the coast to go fishing, but lately, it’s been more centered on airsoft guns.
Each guy brings his own guns and ammo, and they split off into groups and all head to a certain piece of land which is owned by the church. Then, they play to death with capture the flag, or last man standing. It’s a great way to get them out of the house and spending time together. Plus, with all the men gone the women are free to meet for lunch and shopping.
