Trading Benidorm hotels for an authentic Pamplona experience

Every year my family ends up on some dreadful holiday in Spain. We’ve stayed at more Benidorm hotels than you can count and I think my dad has convinced the maitre’d to keep a parking space free for him at his favourite restaurant in Lanzarote. Think any cheesy Spanish resort that’s overrun with Brits and no doubt my family has been. So this year when my mum announced we’d be holidaying in Pamplona I was really shocked. It’s not the typical Spanish getaway and it actually sounds somewhat enjoyable. I can’t wait to get a taste of real Spanish culture and maybe even go to a traditional tapas restaurant – it will be a real treat compared to the chippies we usually visit when in the Costas.
